Your current weather.

The forecast isn't good for a least 3 weeks, lm kinda wishing it had been wetter in May and dryer in July. A rubbish summer is still on the cards bespite all the dry weather we've had.

I wish it would rain here. Everything wilting and burnt off again after the small amount of rain a week ago. Everything on a knife edge. Drying winds now tiny amount of drizzle. The most annoying year I have ever known.

Made even worse by those who have had plenty and not wanting any more. A bitch of a year!

What we need is what used to be growing weather. Enough reserve of moisture in the soil so that the plants arent continually under stress. Enough sun for good levels of photosynthesis without roasting everything to a crisp.
Its hand to mouth here with moisture. Just enough to keep things alive but not nearly enough to allow things to thrive. Same with the grass. Some lambs ready but not nearly as many as usual. The grass is growing in fits and starts then burns off.
A very very frustrating year. Not a total disaster but close.
