You should not have accepted it; tell them to bugger off until after 10th of agreed delivery month at earliest.
They put it out to transport, who then keep pushing until they find someone who will acquiesce.
Edit,
And I am not habitually unhelpful, I will in any other circumstance load/unload lorries 24/7 to keep the wheels turning.

I wonder what would happen if I rocked up 2 months early at the mill with 2 artics of wheat and said just store it here until the agreed delivery date. ?

Does it matter as long as you don’t have to pay
No, paying is no issue . September price was supposed to be best etc . The point was the marketing rubbish from more than one company . I couldn’t give a toss really it just the bullsh1t that gets thicker every year

The 'new season' is an odd one as markets don't generally suddenly stop and reset because of one or two companies. Therefore is it really a true market? Markets are constantly adjusting and last season we witnessed urea at its lowest in November, not May/June, when perhaps the UK believes it to be the best price. There is more liquidity in the urea market and it moves to fundamentals and sentiment, not just to marketing and a 'reset'. Game Theory.

You would need to ask when was the stuff made and is it going to keep OK, there is a lot of last springs fert in warehouses, mine included!
Straight of the line all of it , can’t fault quality and buy British when can afford but the marketing is shocking . Should be who’s got storage get better deals. Liquid works like that
