John Deere reducing dealerships

Who wants to buy pottinger it’s 1st division product with a premiership price tag and the amount of dealers in Devon who have had pottinger says something about how rubbish it is....
I don't have any Pottinger stuff but I know several who have and it seems as good as anything else as far as grass equipment goes.
A friend has just gotten a Pottinger plough after getting a demo of most mainstream makes and he really likes it.

Basing that on the old Landmec days? 5 Pottinger machines here at the moment and 2 just sold, have to say they’re the most reliable machines we’ve run and think we’ve tried most makes. Spares and new prices comparable with others.

Know of someone who bought new krone front and rears and having loads of issues with them.
All brands have issues it's how they are dealt with is the key. Krone let us down big time with a tedder that we had to sort ourselves.

Care to elaborate on why I should rule their machines out?
On the mower conditioner the conditioner hood got dented very easily I think a stone only had to look at it for it to dent the claas I had before did 5 seasons to look as bad as the pottinger looked in 1, it stayed 2 seasons before I shipped it out and got another claas the area rep for pottinger said he had never seen one as bad as that and blamed operator basically but I know and contractor out bude way had similar issues according to a driver

What year was that? I’ve just sold 2x 2013 mowers that were in very good condition, I’d even put some fence posts through them!, and hit a concrete water trough at 15kph.... My current 2017 mower was thought brand new by a competitors rep too! Have you experience of the rakes, tedders, soil engaging kit or are you basing it all on one machine?

As I said... The JD fallout is going to cause casualties & once the merry go round starts people's lively hoods are going to be effected.

Sad times when you have spent so much time building something to have it taken away from you.
