I have a class branded outback s-lite lightbar with a puck antenna like this...

The antenna signal strength has recently all but disappeared. It flicks between ready and warning up while it finds an SBAS correction signal, drops out frequently, and the AB line drifts horrendously

It was working fine a few weeks ago. Erasing the flash memory and restoring defaults helps for a couple of hours, but it starts drifting before the day is out, and the signal strength never improves.

Has something changed satellite wise, or is the "ancient" technology now buggered???

Could I connect a better antenna like a Trimble ag15?

I’ve got a one exactly the same and it’s been fine but haven’t used it for a few weeks. I only use it for fert on grassland, spraying when I can’t see tramlines and rolling

Happy days!!!!

New magnetic puck antenna from RS for a tenner has cured the weak wandering signal

I still don't need to spend upwards of a grand and a half on "proper" guidance system ?
