one for the MF die hards

Still pathetic though. Hopefully 7 series will have 250 horse in a 7718 size to be anything like revolutionary. Otherwise the high spec ones will be obsolete compared to fendt and valtra.

do you reckon it’s too long? I was thinking longer is great but I’m not living in same country as you any more so we have plenty of room.

They should pull well. I see this as a jd 7r and Fendt 800 competitor not a Fendt 700 competitor.

Looks great externally. Hopped in our old 2000 series today and still love that big cab. Can see why AGCO went back to that style. Some 100 series themes notably the down swept grey front panel and centre of the steering wheel from what I can see. Cab colours and style look truly professional.

Looks like roller blinds on the side cab windows. I'm always shoving cardboard etc to block the late afternoon sun out. Always wondered why it wasn't included decades ago. (Summers in OZ).

Looks like a winner for AGCO, and the MF brand. Got to hand it to AGCO, they are building worlds best machinery from small beginnings less than thirty years ago, and putting the MF brand back at the top of the heap.

I would say it almost looks a lot like a Fastrac with that cab?

The A pillar screen just looks weird. They could have made the displays fit on that fine without the need for a screen poking out of it awkwardly.

Right hand arm rest looks very busy but a lot of tractors are like that these days. Cab does appear quite airy but that may just be the way the photo was taken.

I don’t like it one bit but as it’s a tractor not aimed at the likes of me that doesn’t really matter although no doubt that style will filter down the ranks.
My last new tractor was a change of brand for the first time in nearly 40 years, judging by what I’ve seen it could be quite a while before I’ll be buying another MF

What's with the complaining about its wheelbase? Surely in a tractor this size there's only advantages, pulls better, easier access to the engine area and last but absolutely not least, (probably greatest in fact), a much improved ride..

The fact that MF has had a 3 metre wheelbase even down in its 7 series has been a major selling point to my mind.

They should have to do a year driving to a contractor doin long hours behind a steering wheel and a year mechanicing to a inde mechanic workin at all brands first before they can design so they know what is needed and expected
do you think someone who has the skills to undertake stress calcs, fluid flow calcs, generate 3d models ect, also has the skills to drive a tractor

I suspect theya re VERY few and far between who do

I think most tractor designers have the skills to drive a tractor, they just don’t have the inclination. Why bounce around in a tractor seat when you can earn twice as much for half the hours.

I'd want a lot more hp in that size. For my jobs a 726/728 fendt would be ideal. On the world market I'm guessing it's not necessary but why not give the option of pto power in a small frame. Especially with vario transmission parameters could be set to keep torque off transmission

You’d have a valid point if Massey’s had a decent ride- fact is it’s always been very poor Compared to John Deere and Fendt

Why is there 3, yes 3 separate screens in the cab? For Godsake!

As long as you can still see out the cab it's as simple as the more screens the better, in my opinion at least..

That's true but would you really want an even rougher riding MF then?
