That's about 7 hectare down yesterday, started mowing at early this morning (a bit afraid I couldn't keep the 6910 cool) and now done, about 30 hectares down in 7 1/2 hours. Having to do 21 pieces kills output.

Glacial boulder clay subsoil. They just bubble up every year. You could plough that field and gather stones for 20 years and you would still get more. Most of Scotland is like it.
We have big stones too but after they are picked the field can still resemble a crop of tatties on the surface with a bit of soil between.
Reseeding 35 acres this month so will do some pictures
