You are not comparing like with like.
Plus a loader can be lifted up out the way of traffic when coming out a blind gateway.

That JD that overturned is just pure incompetence, a completely avoidable incident that one.

If you lock up at all on the main road your braking too hard and waaaay too late. Why didn’t he slow down 150 yards earlier and just coast to the junction?

Or knocking down a child that runs into the road?

Accidents happen, children can run out into road.
But pulling put of a blind gate is not an accident its negligence

Yes I am, deliberately, in answer to previous posts. A front loader lifted restricts visibility in other ways, more than a front mower does

That's quite a common insurance scam-the car in front stops suddenly and you rear end it, breaking the back lights, bending the bumper a bit. By the time it gets to your Insurers, all 4 occupants (you only saw the driver) have whiplash, the car's a write off and 'cos it's a minicab (wasn't when you hit it) your expected to cough up for loss of earnings or replacement car hire.

The fact is that if you go into the back of another vehicle in a 2 car accident, you are at fault in the eyes of the Insurance companies.

If you hit another vehicle because you couldn't stop in time, you have to prove it's not your fault.

If you are on the same carriage way yes but as I said I know 2 people who have been done for driving without due care and attention for hitting cars while emerging into flowing traffic from the left

If i pull out from a junction into the path of an oncoming car ,its the oncoming cars fault ?
