Being serious I cant seem to find out how many acres/ha’s the family are farming, but going by the amount of kit they have it must be 30,000,acres +.
I will email my retired ag consultant friend in Saskatoon and ask if he knows of the family.
Me seems to think all that kit is not financed solely from farming, but I may be proved wrong.

I think they Farm 45000 acres in an area 100 miles north south and 70 miles east west, might be the other way round He does explain in one of his videos. I like the one when they have finished seeding and have a 5 hr road trip back home.

Interesting to see on the Monette Farms website that the production manager originates from
Ireland and got his Bsc at Harper Adams. Just shows there are farming careers beyond our overpopulated shores.

plenty of opportunities outside of the uk. I’m from Northern Ireland. Did my Bsc at Harper Adams and css as me to Australia.

I’ve worked on 40000 ac cereal farms here and managed a potato farm for 10 years which was part of an operation growing between 6-7000 acres potatoes. While managing there I started a cereal cropping program leasing land from who I worked for.

since leaving there in 2016 I’ve grown the farming side of business and gotten into more contracting with seeding and spreading but mainly focussing on spraying. We have just gone into hay contracting mowing, raking and high density square baling.

bit long winded but just wanted to show there are opportunities out there for the taking.

I like this recent video by Mike,
, especially the bit towards the end which shows what he has for supper on the combine, especially as his wife drives on of the combines(y)

Could do with a wife like his, she drives the grain drill, self propelled sprayer, combine, likes off roading in that buggy things he owns, shes good looking, and, and!!! She heats his meals in the oven she has in combine cab!!!!
