Hi

We are just fitting CBs into all of our machines and all the other kit has been straight forward (most have had CBs in from their previous homes) but we have got to the Fendt 724 and rather than just go in and butcher something in thats wrong i thought id ask how anyone else has done it? any pics?
Its a Thunderpole system that i have got.

Best thing I've found to do is cut a slot the right size for CB in the storage/blank compartment at the end - the one with the little net.
I think all 700 series fednts has 3 slots - aircon, radio and a blank.
Instead of a normal blanking plate that holds the CB near the front, this will be at the back so doesn't cover the speaker and saves on getting an external speaker.
Lots of options for power supply behind there with the roof mounted 3 pin and britax plugs up there.

Buy a din mount from Thunderpole and put it in the 3rd slot where the blank is. Wires straight into the D plug, green is ignition live, brown is negative. If yours has 4 radio speakers then pull the wires out of front right speaker, make a wire up and plug into the back of cab set. If it only has 2 radio speakers the buy an 20watt external speaker from Thunderpole and fit it where the front right speaker is. I will have done over 10 like this and all worked well. If it’s a new 724 then the gubbins for the Fendt Connect tracker will be behind the blank plate. Pull the heater/ air con unit out, disconnect the wires and tread them through to the back slot where the blank plate was, it’s short so will fit in, then just put the cb din mount in the front slot.

Great, thanks. Where is best place for the antenna, on the wing mirror arm?
