Some of the cattle dealers must be in for some amount of jam. Jam today
I'm showing no bitterness to them as I know it's hard earned and well deserved
The beef payments are going to the owner of the animals at the point where the price dropped, not to the person the meat plant paid. In most cases that means it'll actually go where it should, that's quite a novel idea for the dept.

One thing that would make me want to pack it in is summer testing. And that's before results day. We had a fairly good run, but the stress is still exhausting, and pitting a man's lawn with footholes doesn't help.

8 cows and one year-old. 😟

On the positive side, no one was seriously injured or killed. That's what we've come to be content with from the TB eradication programme.
