Ran out of stock of new cardboard boxes to pack apples in, they are £1 a go if you buy a full pallet and that price takes some of the shine off the job.
Had some old boxes in store that most likely would end up burnt if I hadn't put them to one side. Some cheap packaging roll torn to length and a sheet of card on the bottom and job's a good'n.

Customer was more interested in the boxes than the contents! :D

So in the end - yet another top brass tw@ making massive errors due to their own massive egos and self appointed higher than thou views on others and obvious serious lack of respect, will no doubt walk away with shed loads of money and a contract that will still favour them financially.... even though they fuked up massively.

It depends last rio boss sacked they stopped all the options and bonuses for violating company policy, they still make heaps but they in a job that pays heaps so should come of no surprise if they are rich, bit like saying i cant believe that farmer is that rich but just sold a 1000 acres in sth devon....derrp.

Govt departments in oz are the worst for it especially rural shires. Some of those stories do make u scratch your head.

Presentation is everything? As an aside I am surprised at the cost of cardboard boxes.

Inspected new farm today to check grass, needs fert desperately. Had alot of rain and still walks no worries, volcano dirt is good.

Looking at leasing out for 1st year while i set up sheds and yards etc...ill advertise expression of interest and see whats around with some different scenarios, agistment etc.

I had my farm sold that fell through...of course...had alot of interest since and being inspected again tomorrow, shouldn't take long to move.

My grass is out of control so got ewes akd lambs in, Leo and Henry cant keep up.

Getting new sheds built in time is gonna be tricky.

@Farmer Roy ,I think coal will eventually lose its market worldwide.

Interesting fact from the UK is that at one point in the last six months over 50% of our electricity was produced from renewable resources.

To me that’s a massive indication that the technology is in place and working.

If we are carbon neutral by 2050 as a society there should be little cause for using any natural gas never mind dirty coal.

Covid will also depress consumption and allow technology to advance.

Maybe a change in your government in the coming years will assist.

From what i've read online, India is building over 60 coal fired power stations, and China another 320 odd. And, i reckon, the carbon
emissions from these 380+, will be a greater than the reduction in carbon, which the population of the Uk is trying to do. The sums
DO NOT ADD UP.

a lot of that Indian & Chinese coal will be coming from Australia . . .

the two massive proposals we are currently fighting are Adani ( Indian ) in central Qld & Shenhua ( China ) only 7 km from here . . .

yet Australia doesn’t count the emissions from our coal as we are also exporting the problems along with the coal . . .

I am aware of the coal fired power stations being built however these figures have been around for years.

I wonder what the up to date figures are in real time now?

Obviously we can’t keep exponentially building them worldwide.
