Any plans for the Carbon tests etc? Is it too early to benefit from that? Knowing this shitshow of a Govt it could be a long way off. Hope I'm wrong!
My tests showed carbon increase in the soils.

Our ex AB15 ground ploughed up nicely. It has taken the rain better too. Much better than the awful ex spring oat ground that is like liver and last year’s stubble is visible in places.
What’s that going to be used for . Forage or AD . Baling and wrapping makes it an expensive job. Everyone’s got tons of surplus forage around here this year .Ready for baling now. I'm excited to know just what has been "produced" from this land. Carbon capture, habitat, bit of forage. And was it good value? And what on earth is the ground going to work up like!

Forage.
Cow + bale = milk and turds. I'm reliably informed that milk then turns into money.
Would be interesting to know how many bales per acre when they get finished?Ready for baling now. I'm excited to know just what has been "produced" from this land. Carbon capture, habitat, bit of forage. And was it good value? And what on earth is the ground going to work up like!

Thanks, that gives me something to go on when the time comes to cut ours (if we get accepted for 1st Jan 2021, should do as have some SSSI so almost guaranteed to get inso I'm told).Looks like 80 bales from 17ac. Big bales. 30 percent moisture. Really dense. Ton each? Not sure but very, very heavy. Baler man seemed pleased. I'll be pleased once it's shifted, roundupped, limed, soloed, power harrowed and ready for wheat.
Lots of daddy longlegs. That's bad though isn't it?
The clover roots in the ab15 are really incredible .
My neighbour is doing the same, unless you are my neighbour??I’ve taken the considered decision that I’m just gonna drill wheat straight into the 60 acres of AB15. Rammed with root.
Any cultivation is only going to make the situation worse was what my agronomist said
