Clipping and colouring don't really need to be seen through, people aren't stupid.What I don’t get is that the buyers can’t see through the trimmed out necks, bloom and mega feeding. Can’t blame the breeders for supplying them though.
As for feeding that's all relative and in the eye of the beholder, sheep that are grazed well on aftermath could be classed as fed up for sales compared to those on badly managed or upland grazing.
Plenty of people could take my rotationally grazed sheep and put them on rank seeded PP and they'd probably looses condition, does that make me a bad person for having them in a state where they could go backwards if management changes.
