Not in this climate! Today for example its 63% relative humidity air here and 70 F, according to the charts that equates to about 14.5% in wheat or rape. perfect for drying wheat on floor!

When we used on-floor there were many days in a good autumn that the RH was too low and you could end up overdrying the lower layers in the store if the fan running parameters were not set correctly. Below 60% defintely too low.

According to the charts it would be impossible to overdry Rape i.e. to below 6% mc. In fact to dry it to below 9% the RH would have to be so low and the air temp so high that its not possible with ambient air.

According to phone app humidity 61% temp 22c, this morning it was 75% 19c.

What is the source for that? Local weather station? Your phone won’t have the sensors for that.

Electronic humidistats are very unreliable IME when compared to a wet & dry bulb hygrometer used with distilled water.
