don.t suppose you have any photos of how you have done it have you?
I think thats going to be the best idea,I'd like to do the curtain sider idea but already have an ex tnt 16 tonner full of house stuff while we're trying to do an extension to the house,so would have to wait for the room
sorry, not skilled enough to put photos on. I just made a big bookshelf out of 3x4 timber frame bolted to shed steelwork on 3 levels so everything is stacked in a small space and always in the dry, with the heaviest on the ground. and lightest ( pallet tines ) at the top. made it 16 yrs ago.don.t suppose you have any photos of how you have done it have you?

I always assumed those folk with pictures of tractors being cleaned, carpet in the cab, etc, were a pee take, now you are telling me folk store attachments inside?! Incredible.

Something I could never get my head round was why some people buy expensive kit and throw it behind a hedge.
I don't have a lot of new stuff, but I try and look after what I have. Under a roof is the best place to store it, unless your making so much money that it doesn't matter.

I was always told by my father never leave any machine outside ever !. And he never did. And I never do either, everything is parked inside every night. The only time they are outside is when they are used. Vehicles included as well.

There is never enough space for that here. As soon as a new shed is built, animals go in. But definitely the best policy if you have the space.

Both big tractors, baler, grain trailer, combi drill, fert spinner never spend a night outside. Everything else 2 older tractors, plough, cultivators, bale trailer has to stand outside unfortunately. The sprayer is out over summer months in over winter. One day I will have a purpose built machinery shed....One day

If left outside make sure any buckets slope slightly down so they don't lie full of water. It eventually rusts them through.

Just saves space and also dog was chasing a fox and cut her leg on one (half way through tendon) so 2k later on vets bills thought I’d better do something

I have 300 cattle, 500 sheep telehandler and small pivot steer and I think you have more attachments than meKnocked this up over last weekend,6 attachments taking up floor space of 2
mine live outside, but very few sit still from one day to the next. round bale grab is probably the only one, just try to leave it up off of the soil and clean, taken very little harm in the last 20 year. My combine has sat out most of this winter, as shed full of hay and straw 
would love to put a shed up for machinery, but guess it would end up full of cows

Sounds like most of us really need to put up at least 2 more sheds, rather than just one.
