I see in the website it has some type of wing contour following. How do the wings pivot?
Any idea how heavy the drill toolbar is Bob?

The center frame has an arm out of either side that pivots on the center of the coulter frames .

I have used ours for OSR, very pleased so far. Nice and simple and not much to worry about. I'd say it's worth spending time setting the seed depth. No individual depth control and tines means there will be some variation in seed placement so be sure to check several rows to get an average and do plenty of tests. Once set up it works well, and if the ground is uneven it moves enough soil to still place the seed properly.

No I haven’t , I will look on the chassis plate but I don’t think it’s on there . I think it’s the first one built with no tank .

Yes we still have both combi drills but may sell the 4m if this goes ok . Not sur on weight but will stick it on a weighbridge tomorrow .
Did hear that Weaving are bringing out a plastic hopper version, not certain?

6m with steel hopper is quite heavy I think . I’ve seen a video of one on a JD 6175r and it has a large front weight on it .

JD 6930 (standard model so no boost), lifts and pulls it easily, 1t on the front but it will lift it fine without. Probably the right size tractor if you have some hills and medium/heavy land and you want to handle it comfortably

Are you using it with an existing front tank or did it come as an outfit? Is it single tank or split?

We’re using one of our existing front tanks at the moment that is single tank with twin metering units , it could be split but isn’t really big enough .If all goes ok we will build a new larger tank in the winter time .

Ours was the Lamma display drill, one of the very first, used all spring with great success now all sown for autumn into various soil types and conditions without fault. Just very very heavy our John Deere 6195r knows it’s there, pulling it is easy.
