How does these drills work with stones?
The biggest advantage powerharrows have on our land is they don’t pull up stones. A pig take cultivator pulls up plenty
Is that a 4.8m or 6m wide unit?Ours was the Lamma display drill, one of the very first, used all spring with great success now all sown for autumn into various soil types and conditions without fault. Just very very heavy our John Deere 6195r knows it’s there, pulling it is easy.

6000m on the side of the tank means 6m.Is that a 4.8m or 6m wide unit?
Said on here somewhere at the time I thought that drill was the best bit of kit I saw at lamma. So simple and well engineered amongst all the over complicated stuffOurs was the Lamma display drill, one of the very first, used all spring with great success now all sown for autumn into various soil types and conditions without fault. Yes I bet it is. And a hell of a lot less paddling on headlands too I expect. Have you done much direct into stubbleYes it certainly is well engineered and very simple, drop it in and go, tractor purrs along at 1400revs about 10/12k all day long, after 3m combi it’s certainly a game changer no worries about running out of fuel now in a day, in fact 2days of sowing to one tank and almost a weeks worth of drilling in two days now.

Yes part of me thinks we should have bought one as we were running an accord tine seeder but swapped that for a weaving gd but feel there’s times when a tine would be better. Ironically probably in dryer weather. Bet that’s a bit of a culture shock compared to a combinationAll the spring sowing direct this year, and about 1/3 of our autumn planting direct, very low disturbance, quite amazing for a tine drill really. Does your drill run off ISOBUS or has it a normal control box?
For all the users is the depth of the tine the seeding depth for wheat or does the tine run a bit below where the seed is delivered?
Tine about 2 or 3 inch below the seed tube, that will give you roughly the sort depth your after.
We have our tube on the middle hole at the moment, the odd one of top but putting it in wellThanks would u put the tube in the bottom hole for wheat then? And then run the tube at seed depth?
