we paid for it to be all pumped out of the barrels - we had a lot. Think we did it through Sulway or something like that. Its cheaper to go through agent though

I think the fall in oil price means the waste oil has less value for recycling. I see Solway appear to be charging £150 for 200L discount on larger volumes.

I use Duston Oils every couple of years or so. They are based in Northampton but will travel.
They collect my waste oil, filters and antifreeze and we get the correct paperwork so I can sleep at night.

We've just got a new set of ballast rollers, was thinking of filling them with waste oil, at least it won't freeze!

Lincs waste oils collect our s. think either sixty or eighty quid.gather a few years worth so not that expensive...no max. Quantity I think.must be a min though but generally 4000 litres here at a time..

Last time I filled boot of jeep with 5L drums and went to local council site. Think they got suspicious, so I'll leave it for a while now

Oil salvage for me after recommendation on here. Just fill an ibc and when full they pump it out £150 last time iirc and they email the waste transfer note for your records.
Needs to be bunded I guess?

Illegal without a £3500 licence then £1000 each year after.
Almost all small burners/drip feed type wouldnt meet the emissions anyway.
