Lockdown red tractor inspection

Two weeks ago my assesor rang to book a visit for the second week of November. He said it would be as normal but we could email any paperwork early to minimise the time he spent here on the day.
Its now looking like we will be in lockdown, and I'm starting to wander if he will want it done via video link as happened with some folk I read about during the first lockdown, or has that idea been abandoned altogether?

How did folk get on doing live video, signal is P poor here and zero Gs around the yard and buildings.

I’ve got mine on 18th Nov. They’ve already emailed a link to a portal, where you upload stuff they need to see.
I guess we will have to carry the phone round, but like you the connection might not be great.

It's a pain in backside anyway without more moither  Ive been thinking I could compromise and just send pictures of everything (it's good enough for non conformances) just get some stock photos of a new set up off Google! it will be a breeze :ROFLMAO:

They can have a selection but I am not emailing them everything they normally see for them to loose or to end up in the internet
I will have to rip the pages out of my desk diary, to be able to scan and email, or just take pics of dates when I washed the grain bucket etc.
A neighbour (@mixed breed may know him, as buys calves in Oswestry ), got pulled up for not having the correct disinfectant. So went to local merchant to buy a drum. The chap behind the counter said, just take the drum outside and take a pic on your phone like everyone else. No need to buy it.

Did one via WhatsApp video call early on. Worked fine. Had to keep it short as I didn't want to hammer my data and my battery started to go flat. We have good 4g all over the farm. No non-conformances, which isn't typical for us.

Maybe you could offer to do video call from the house over WiFi, then just send in any photos they need of the stock or store or whatever?

Tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine. Bunch of shysters anyway.
I would love nothing more that to do that, but other options are limited with milk now. If your not assured they won't pick it up.

Might drop the beef and lamb side though as I'm mostly selling as calves nowadays and the lamb trade is much the same in market, sometimes better (provided their well finished)
