I actually think it looks really good.

However, I did say, ages ago, that there is no way you will stop illegal migrants with just a fence given that the UK has a 20 odd mile moat around it and people still try.

Probably just as easy to walk around the ends. From what I hear, there’s under 20 miles of new fence, plus some refurbished stuff. Many miles of the border still has no fence at all.

It's not enough to stop people though. The border is hundreds of miles across and in quite difficult terrain.

The USSR had far more serious border controls in place during the Cold War but even those didn't stop people.

You will never ever, seal a land border. It’s totally impossible.

20000 troops plus associated mechanisation tried to seal the 300 mile border in Northern Ireland and it was still porous.

Not even sure why he's bothering with the wall. All the reports I have seen are that most illegal activity actually crosses through the official points, just hidden in vehicles etc.
