The thinking Is more when they get to 6/7 and they turn to hat racks. Sell them whilst they are worth a good price in good fettle.

Sell them fit off the mountain at 4 too a lowland man for £65-£100 to get 2/3 crops out of or sell them lean off the mountain at 5 to a man like me to take and feed at £30?? I know which I’d do in the circumstances

Yes fell sheep don’t want to be kept up there any older than 3-4 crop or there can be bother with them

That was always the case when Chelford used too ring. He never just rang the few regular volume vendors. He rang bloody everyone. Then got all offended when I’d hold the first pen and then pass the rest.
