Friend sent me a pic, their 19 year old daughter came home and said there’s a funny noise coming from the car

Going outside in the dark to see what the fuss was, he gets a torch out to inspect closer

Millennials ......!!....and punctures

Passed someone the other night on the 1079 driving on what looked to be a flat rim with their hazards on rather than stop

My mate’s wife came through the door one night soaking wet having walked home explaining that the camshaft had gone in her car and it was lying dead in the middle of the road a half a mile away. My mate jumped in his car with a tow rope planning to get it dragged home or at least into a lay-by. When he got there he discovered it had a flat tyre.

I used a self inflating kit on wifes newish car. It can't then be repaired as chemicals in gunk stop the patch sticking. What's annoying is that the hole was too big for the gunk so I had put a string in it anyway. New tyre Thankyou. Grrrr.

My wife came home to say the car wouldn't start as there was water in the carburetor. I thought that was clever as she had little mechanical knowledge. I asked where it was.
I left the handbrake off and it ran into the river.

Only works if you know you have a problem tho. Maybe this is why they fit tyre pressure sensors to some cars now.....

Whenever I've had a car with one of those I buy a space saver spare straight away. Had too many frustrations with glue bottles
