I’ve no idea!
Tyres confuzzle me a bit so I’ll take it to Moreton Tyres and see what can be done.

Auto box is the future. No one in there right mind would buy a manual nowadays!Lovely pete, it is even more intimidating than the xerion. In a good way. Congrats on selling the xerion aswell, I personally had my doubts but you only need one person. Hope you didn't take to much of a loss.
I have a bit of a tyre fetish, so what size is under the zetros now?
Also, why do you want an automatic transmission, just the ease of it?
god funny you say that heard a story the last tractor you bought has multiple gearsticks?Auto box is the future. No one in there right mind would buy a manual nowadays!

I’m also expecting you to be fitting a Chelsea PTO to the gearbox? Another feature of running the Allison auto is a constant PTO drive, although as we’ve discussed before, it’s not quite a constant rpm from the PTO and I’ve obviously overcome that in my own way, but you’ve never had an issue so I expect it will be fine Plus you’ve got a few more horses to keep things moving!Thank you. I did have to shave a fair bit off what I wanted for the Xerion, but it’s not an easy thing to move on.
At the moment, 560 22.5 on the front and 600 on the rear.
At the very least I would put the rears on the front and I think we could go up to 850 on the back, but it depends what’s available.
The Allison auto box is, to my mind, the absolute pinnacle of transmission for my job. The Big A spreaders have always had them. They have constant power whilst changing up, whereas many supposedly auto boxes have a lag between gears. It would be hardly noticeable on a flat road, but on a soft field you would be stopped before you got up a gear. The Allison also has a lock up feature once full power is reached and will really hang on.
It’s definitely the best option and very simple too. Plus the reliability is (usually!!) superb. In over 25 years of running Allison transmissions I have never had to replace one. They are also great and reasonably priced for service exchange units, should the worst happen.
No brainer!
I’m fetching the Bredal body home tomorrow so I might dangle it over the chassis just to get an idea of how it will look.
Might be time to start that new thread!

unless of course it’s already got some other PTO option?
If you happen to be have it next to the Big A at any point it would be interesting to have a photo of the two side by side for comparison.
P.S your boy must think it’s Christmas come early!
How much should it carry?I think once the body is on it will weigh just a bit less than the Multistrife. At the moment it is about 1.5t less, having weighed it this morning.
He was like a dog with two tails when he came home last night.
Dad retains legend status.
Late to the party. . Was a few pages behind on the going's on. A shame to see the xerion go pete after the hard work and headaches but if she aint fit for the job then needs must. I hope the new toy does what you want and require and atleast we get another thread out of it jokes aside i wish you all the best with it and im sure there will be no looking back when you have her all set up
can you still get700/50/26.5 for the front and 800/45/26.5 for the rear about 1350 height? used to run a unimog on them, alliance if memory serves.@Cab-over Pete , there is a number between the 560 and 22.5. After some research, the fronts are 560/60R22.5 BKT FL 630 super. Then the back will likely be a 600/55R22.5 (if the ratio between fronts and backs is 1:1).
750/45R22.5 would fit pretty nice but it might be to big a difference. Vredestein is the only one to make a very low 800 wide tyre: 800/40R22.5 but it will be on the low side of you combine it with a 600/55R22.5. If you fit it with a BKT FL 635 650/50R22.5 on the front it will be dead nuts on. These are tyres of 125 cm high ish. If you want to go wider then you will be going over 150 cm tall.
710/50r26.5 a popular tyre for tandem axle tankers, it's about 1380.can you still get700/50/26.5 for the front and 800/45/26.5 for the rear about 1350 height? used to run a unimog on them, alliance if memory serves.
