and I bought it with cti in 94 that all you kids think is clever to cite 20 years past date, and with 24’’ wheels and it still sunk. I think the photo shows a good contrast between big v small rolling circumference.

HOW derrrrr
one the big wheels are not driving so no digging them selves in
If you had off winched the unimog and spreaded across ther i am shure it would not sink half to what it is
And i bet its a lot wetter wher the unimog is
Other wise the mog would of got stuck where the spreader is
You would need too pull the spreader past were the mog is to get a true representation
Dont get me wrong it is obvious the bigger diamiter the less ground compaction

Your are SO right it’s amazing. I part ex the unimog and bought a Transit van with a winch on the front and all our troubles were over.

You do like to drag a thread down, don’t you?

After all the practice you’ve got quite adept at doing so.
The problem with forums is that not every opinion on everthing you post will be agreeable. Am I allowed to voice the opinion that I feel the Zetros is a white elephant and unfit for purpose through my experiences of 40 years contracting and buying kit that has proven itself to have limitations. The photo I posted is of a Mercedes on 24” wheels with cti, do you feel that my post is out of context?
Remember I was the person who pointed out to you that towing with the big A was illegal and you have never forgiven me, but I was correct.
I will keep quiet now as anything less than sycophantic thoughts upset you. I sat and said not a jot over the xerion as I thought it a good idea but i feel this move is a mistake from my own experience of these tyre sizes for field work.

What on earth are you on about?🤣

I have no problem with anybody voicing their opinion. In fact I find it incredibly helpful.

You were not the first person to tell me about towing with the Big A. And as for not forgiving you if you were, what nonsense! If I’m breaking the law I will thank anyone for pointing that out. So, for the record, even though you weren’t the first, I thank you for confirming what I already knew.

Your Unimog above may be on 24” tyres and cti, but my tyres will be a lot wider, also with cti and I won’t have the huge weight imposed on my back axle that you have there with your muck spreader.

I will still have the Big A for land that may be a bit tender and with the Zetros I will have a good way to deliver the Loadall if need be. I think I’m going to be quite well kitted up for the future with two machines that can each carry out upwards of 80% of my work, overlapping quite nicely.

I thank you for your opinion and welcome future input, but please don’t post such negative and prickly comments. You have a huge amount of knowledge and experience and can do better.

Sycophantic? What a stupid presumption.

You can't deliver the loadall with the zetro to the big A as that is pure haulage and will need tax and fueled as such. Unless you spread one load with the zetro on arrival👍

Good thought, I did think of that, but I was under the impression that because I would be delivering an agricultural machine for carrying out agricultural land improvement work with a machine that belongs to me as part of the overall whole farm operation I would be ok.

I hope that’s right. Not the end of the world if I can’t do it.
I think the machine that delivers should be involved further in the operation. I also believe you can't deliver a digger to a job and then go back for dump trailer otherwise you've just hauled the digger there then left. All this is legally and you would need to be caught and they really awkward mood to do you for it

He could just spread a little bit on the headlands & gateway with the Zetro then it's been used as an integral part of the agricultural operation 😉 😉

👍
I can't find any facts to back up my thoughts but believe I may have read them in farmer weekly. It's might be worth finding out from someone with more knowledge, or maybe ignorance could be bliss

I bet my three wheel drive John Deere pulling the same spreader would get stuck in exactly the same place all the same.
