Anyway why couldn't I post a poll Clive ? website wasn't having ityou are looking at a lot more than 6 weeks to get a significant amount of people vaccinated ...... doubt I will see a needle this year
kids should definitely go back to school - education is essential and parents need to work
How will we pay for out wonderful NHS if there is no economy left ?

It’s an aside, but why is the approval of the Oxford vaccine taking so long?
Would the creators of the vaccine really have submitted it for review if it wasn’t ready? Isn’t there a danger of losing a critical fortnight for nothing more than procedure? Might it not be prudent to begin vaccination of those most at risk or even volunteers who are willing to take the risk now before the review is complete?
My view entirelyIn my view if you are serious about slowing the virus then schools should be closed for at least January. It’s almost certain that the NHS will be overwhelmed as it is. Schools going back will just make it twice as bad. Sad but true.
Lives are more important than mock gradesMock exams start on the 11th Jan , if they miss these & things get worse & they miss their main exams it's going to be really difficult to grade them .
And when that isn't possible?...just keep kids well away from higher risk individuals....... ie common sense...
