Any main dealer, nfu discount is just a set % off RRP, 23.5k doesn't include extras though. Aftermarket tow bar is about £230 with genuine Toyota wiring kit, another £100 for bed liner, not really sure what else you could want on a work truck as invincible are high spec as standard. Under £24k+vat all in.
£650 for delivery , £600 for metallic paint unless you go for basic white it all adds up

Priced up a defender 90 just for fun the other night, didn’t sound too bad at £35800 but that was white so another £900 for paint, crap metal wheels so getting on for a grand for alloys, extra for decent tyres, £600 for tow bar, £300 for mudflaps etc, lost interest in the end 🤣

nope, delivery included in that price. if you are gonna pay £600 for paint then clearly you arent really looking for a good value work truck, and all makes charge the same anyway so doesnt make any odds

Spray on bed liner ,line x is £457 before discount.

linex is good but not worth it against a £100 drop in bed liner, which can be easily replaced whenever its worn out.

You have to have been a member for atleast 12months?
NFU discount is pointless.
perhaps it is, still a good deal compared to any other make though

^this. I thought it was common knowledge that you MUST replace them at around 60k on the older L200's. :scratchhead:
When I got my 13 plate L200, the service history said the timing belt had been replaced at just under 30K. Don't know if that was out of necessity or obsessive caution. Presumably that means another change around 80-90K-plus?

yes, hiluxs only in white as standard, can have a landcruiser commercial 2.8 in white or black as standard (not much dearer than a hilux), but not 3.5t towing so kind of rules it out for me as the main tow vehicle. might be tempted when i eventually replace my 2nd vehicle though.

I was talking about becoming a member just to get the discount. (y)
Consider one thing about the nfu discount though, who pays it? You walk in the dealer as a farmer and they instantly realise so keep the price up to please you when you get the discount. Whereas Joe public gets a good price to begin with 🤷‍♂

This has been done to death on here already, discount is off RRP not dealer quote, yes you might be able to match it (or maybe not) if you aren't nfu, blah blah blah, still a decent price.

Without searching, what is the discount amount and the average membership payment? .. just thinking if all members bought a new pickup next month if the NFU would be bankrupt?

That's kinda my point above though, do you really think the manufacturer or dealer gets 2k or whatever it might be off the nfu to cover the extra discount you're given as a member? If they do then somewhere along the line the nfu must be getting it back somewhere.
