Have had a quote for a John Deere 6130 M and a valtra N134
Both have loaders, the valtra has come in a few thousand more than the JD, I would say the valtra is a higher is spec than the JD but not a lot on it...tyre sizes are the same on both machines.
We have never had any other make but JD and I’m nervous of swapping.
Should I be...

whats the warranty like for comparison?

Im not really a jd fan but you cant ignore there excellent residual values, that would drive me to jd assuming warranty was equal,

but if your keeping it forever that wont matter i suppose?

The warranty is longer on the valtra.
Won’t be keeping it forever. Usually 8 years

are John Deere M and R suspension the same ? Went in a 130R in summer and was very impressed with the suspension and I’ve always been a valtra man

I’d have to check that, we currently have an R and it’s got cab and front suspension. I’m sure the suspension is the same on the M but I’d stand corrected
Valtra has air suspension on the front

I would swap, there's only a few K difference which is nothing on something like a tractor. The new Valtras are going down really well and taking out lots of other makes. It's better to have something than not and wonder what if. I'm on my first Valtra and after years on JDs its a much better machine.
