That’s too much, I bought a new one this year with barb wire spool and loader headstock for less than that, a new farmer 80 which will work both sides unlike the standard 80,is around £1800.

Sorry to sidetrack, but do Quickfencers make a tidy job of winding up sheep netting, so that you could reuse it elsewhere easily & tidily?
Obviously not rusty old rubbish, but HT wire that might only have been up a few years?

How would it wind it up?
Don't they just unroll by you driving along?

You'd have to fit a hydraulic motor to 'reel it in'.

Seem to remember @exmoor dave saying he'd invented something in the dim and distant past (probably similar vintage to his 'prolapse replacing gizmo)

a new standard 80 should be a bit less than 2k even with a loader bracket it would be no where near that price up there

they do a hydraulic rewinder for another 1600 which is a bit dear imo

We have a winder upper machine, you can wind up 250 metres of net and make a good job so it can be pulled out again through the quickfencer. It can be added onto most quickfencers, ours is independent
