Many people mock these expensive sales of cattle/ sheep etc but in many cases it is outside money from other businesses that is is being pumped into farming as no ordinary farmer has that kind of money to spend....this can only be a good thing in some ways.
It’s often outside money being pumped in, but not into farming. It is generally pumped into others in a small group, whose herds are built on the same outside funding.
It’s a rich man’s hobby, which is fair enough if that’s what they want to do with their money, but it’s not injected into the farming industry. The whole pyramid scheme works by extracting money from the wannabes, which often does come from farming.
