They bloody are , always wanted cash , any denomination

Mrs Czech had to spend some time in Italy for her degree. She was at the bottom (they are bad down there) it was a disaster, was very close to being dangerous and she was very lucky that I took some time off to go with her. But not just one incident, it rolled on and on from one crook to another🥴

And it says upfront costs of 336 million euro plus an undisclosed amount for fill and packaging on 300 million doses . Which is in line with the UK £65 million for 100 million doses and the US's $1 billon for one billion doses.
I am not sure why folk in the UK are getting in such a tizzy about an argument between the EU commission and a pharmaceutical company over a supply contract in the EU? :scratchhead:
I’m not sure being interested is quite the same as being in a tizzy.
I’m not sure why folk in the EU want to come and discuss pharmaceutical supply contracts on a UK agricultural forum, but it takes all sorts to make the world go around.

Come, come MS. You do feign ignorance. Your mob (the EU) have been rumbled. EU officials invoking a trade war. Demanding access to UK domicile factories. Coming all high and mighty. The tizzy was your lords and masters in Brussels. Making themselves look a bit foolish on the World stage. The US and China will have made note. Chin up - will blow over in a day or two. The indefatigable EU man Mr Tree has bounced back I see from his most recent posts.

It has been said that it was Barnier who got Brussels to back down.
How little power and respect does the Taoiseach have within the EU when Brussels could change the status of the border around Ireland without even consulting him?
The eu have fudged up big time on this and put sitting in the bold corner with a phone call from Ireland must be more than mortifying for Ursala. Vaccines were not ordered on time and as far as I know the money allocated was help with facilities rather than purchase of product. They backed the wrong horse and have to live with the results like every betting person knows

De Lorean first approached the ROI government with his plans. After much negotiation, the ROI pulled out because the then industry minister Des O’Malley saw right through him. O’Malley figured him glib, suave and too good to be true!
The same Des O'Malley who supported and served under Charles Haughey? Yes, fine judge of character... :ROFLMAO:

The EU have set back their reputation at least a generation by threatening to invoke Article 16 which was designed for war and terrorism

I'm on record as really fearing it was Brexiters that threatened the break up of the Union and especially Northern Ireland

What the EU did for only 3 or 4 days has wrecked their standing despite the U-turn however it came about

A very very sad situation

What I cannot get is why everyone who works is trying to do business as best they can to make a living.

Yet those who are paid in government, regardless of what they do, spend most of their time causing trouble for those who pay their wages.

Somewhere there is a screw loose ,, a big one.

Reagan I think it was who said "Never believe the words, I'm from the Government and I'm here to help you"

This could well have saved Boris's skin without him having to do anything. I really want us to vaccinate the population (as we threw the money around when we were getting a lot of criticism for not joining the EU scheme) but then help others out with the surplus vaccine we hold, and the EU is the obvious place to help first so that we can get back there sooner on hols etc but they have lost the moral high ground IMO so if we sell the surplus to the highest bidder I would have no problem with that.
I love travelling in Europe but I'm going to struggle to see them in a good light now.
At least they eventually came to their senses and did a U turn, @Ashtree take note, but what an absolute PR disaster for them, that Brexit vote would be about 80% if they took it tomorrow.

Yeah but's it's not our wonderful friends on the continent is it? Not the real people . Its the commission. Disgusting and useless bag of shite bunch of criminals. Sooner it is over the better. Then we can all crack on together and make the world a better place for our children.

I think the EU commission was stupid and I can't see what it had to do with their argument with AZ. But was it something to do with Bozza threatening to invoke Article 16 against them the previous week? :scratchhead:
