Are you talking to @Ashtree, @le bon paysan and @czechmate ?I try and avoid this section of the forum, it all gets a bit excited for me. However I looked in and got sucked into this black hole. Just out of interest, seeing as you have now left the E.U. and all that it entails, why do you still seem to be so connected to what they are doing? Surely out is out and you would be better served paddling your own canoe with all that it entails? By leaving I don’t think you now have much of a right to comment on how things are run this side of the channel, certainly you are now not in a position to call for the resignation of a leader from whom you are now parted.
You do have my sympathies. NI really does seem to have the worst of everything out of this.Away back under your rock, Matthew. She tried to stop vaccines coming to our country. It has emerged that some vaccine was in transit to Northern Ireland on Friday via the republic, which is probably why there was panic. It was I’ll advised, and it was wrong.
Also, although I don’t live in the eu, and don’t elect any MEPs, this woman and her commission have considerable power over me, and I have no democratic recourse to affect change. This is of course because I live in Northern Ireland, where for all intents and purposes, we are still in the eu. Have a look at some of the pedantic rules being enforced, yesterday we heard of a digger not allowed to travel from GB to NI because there was some dirt under the floor mat, and this would contaminate the whole eu, even though the end destination was within the country where the journey started!

The EU will do everything they can to make Brexit as difficult as they can because they don’t want it and need it not to work. Many in the UK didn’t want Brexit, but we now need to make it work because there is no other option.
Fridays “little mistake” by “some minion” has helped many regretful remainers in the UK move on.
No doubt Friday’s incident is being swept under the carpet as fast as possible, but I won’t forget it, and nor will many of my friends who voted mainly remain.
It wasn’t a minion who accidentally slipped the “mistake” into the “draft” regulation, it was the head of the EU commission and it was approved by her cabinet before release, and it wasn’t a draft.
Hmm...It was a bad few days, for sure.
Nothing like as bad as Cummings lying about eye tests in the Downing Street garden but will that alter the way anyone votes when it comes to it?
I couldn’t bring myself to vote libs because I thought Swindon was awful, not because Jerremy Thorpe was trying to have ex boy friends assassinated
We’re all goldfish
You are mistaken, I do not live under a rock. I am proud to live in France part of the European Union.Away back under your rock, Matthew. She tried to stop vaccines coming to our country. It has emerged that some vaccine was in transit to Northern Ireland on Friday via the republic, which is probably why there was panic. It was I’ll advised, and it was wrong.

Nobody is arguing that we are a third country but there are changes over time when products change etc and there is acting like a spoilt child, funny how we dont have these problems selling or buying from the rest of the world, however businesses will find away through these issuesIt's quite simple, you're a third country. You had 12 months transition and did nothing.
You're not buying the ski pass. You can't use the lift!
Don't be so hard on yourself. Yes there is an element of spoilt child in the way you rant at no longer having access to what you took to be your birthright and which now, as a third country, you don't get. But you will get over it, I'm sure. As soon as valliant, disgraced former defence secretary Fox gets off his fat behind and secures (sorry 'strikes' ) more of those trade deals with distant nations for our innovative jam products.Nobody is arguing that we are a third country but there are changes over time when products change etc and there is acting like a spoilt child, funny how we dont have these problems selling or buying from the rest of the world, however businesses will find away through these issues
Strangely we have moved on from fox.Don't be so hard on yourself. You clearly have your finger on the beating pulse of current affairs...Don't be so hard on yourself. Not really, you are waaaaaay behind Mrs Danllan.A speechless clan, well there’s an achievement
Not in post anymore, though that has never stopped him sticking his nose where it is not welcome, but who can forget his economy-rescuing jam deal?Strangely we have moved on from fox.
Oh dear C that is spin. There is nothing comparable between an individual such as Cummings being a dick and a calculated decision by an organisation representing collectively 27 Sovereign countries dealing with the external relations with another Sovereign country, with what was in effect the triggering of an act of War. You are either trying to sweep it under the carpet - and I understand why, or you truly believe what you write, in which case in my opinion you are fail to appreciate the significance of the difference.
As B'oB says the EU attitude was that moment when you realise after a divorce one side has moved on. Those in the UK who recently suggested starting a rejoin campaign had their boat well and truly torpedoed by there friends at the weekend. The English Channel deepened and widened.
Hey ho onwards we go.

Arsula.Another foot in gob statement from Arsula .
“It is true that other countries started earlier, but we preferred safety to shortcuts,” she told La Repubblica.
