R I P SIR TOM your legacy will always live on ,you inspired a nation and are a true hero .Raised a glass to him this evening.
I bet his family are glad he took the free holiday
The reason captain Tom went on holiday was that the people taking him got a free holiday out of it too simple as thatI have the utter most respect for Captain Tom rip, and his generation. But I do feel that he and his family should not have travelled during this pandemic. When so many elderly people are in complete lockdown, not getting to see close family and friends due to the risks. Raising money for NHS funds, and travelling the world bringing in different variants of the virus is a bit hypocritical.
