Professor Temple Grandin didn't disappoint tonight

Thanks to @Sandpit Farm for facilitating

Aimed at dairy farmers but equally applicable to beef cattle

I must have heard her speak a dozen times and I always pick up something new

Hopefully I'm not breaching copyright with a few screenshots

How do those of us who are levy payers but who aren't on faceache get to hear about these talks, please?

I haven't had any notification by post, and understand that AHDB is going to drop contact with their levy payers who don't have access to all singing/dancing broadband, too.

If you don’t hear about this stuff, your details must be wrong at their end. A posted invite is probably not practical at £2/throw. Printing and posting etc. Reckon if you have an email address, it is correct and they have permission to email you - you should hear of this stuff.

Disappointed that the Miriam Parker follow up is restricted to dairy levy payers on a first come first serve basis, mid-day and only offered to folks who subscribed to the Temple Grandin webinar

It’s not. The just the meeting on 24th Feb is restricted to Dairy farmers.

If beef folks but their name down, they are considering doing beef ones. It just may be a bit later. The challenges on dairy handling can be very different to beef - hence it makes sense to have a meeting for either one of the other.

It isn’t a webinar, it’s an online discussion group for 30 people - a one off. Very different. They get emailed a link.

You email [email protected] saying you are a beef levy payer who saw the Temple Grandin webinar and would be interested in a beef version of the above. They will add you to a list. If there’s demand, they will look into setting a beef one up.

A discussion of dairy farmers will definitely focus on different things to beef farmers.
