Not under any circumstances. It has been against the TASCC rules for a number of years.
What’s your view then on the fight back against red tractor . Various threads running on here where we’ve had enough of the proposed gold plating and regulation of red tractor, whilst mills import grain without the same costs that we are having to bear.
Hopefully change is coming and these protection rackets can be consigned to the dustbin.

Clive knows the situation large grain stores are in, we have no choice but to be compliant with the TASCC code if we want to work with national merchants and famous food brands. We can't opt out of TASCC assurance or choose a different scheme.

Even if we could opt out, that would just open the floodgates for every merchant, mill and maltings to set up their own compliance rules and auditing procedure, which would be a complete nightmare.

What sort of tonnage can your silos hold @Woldgrain Storage ?
Are the new ones any bigger ?

Does look a large site when I’ve been nearby.

Our silos range from small intake bins holding 180mt up to our biggest that will fit 5,000mt of milling wheat.

The new ones will be 5,000 tonners and will take our total capacity up to 100,000mt.
