Older / Classic Round balers

I’m looking at getting myself a round baler. Only covering about 75 acres straw and 50 acres grass/ hay of my own

Just wondering what would be a good make / model to consider, ideally bale hay as 4fts and straw 5fts.

New Holland seem quite good value, John Deere 590’s / welfare’s seem to command quite a premium.

Any thoughts or pointers appreciated [emoji108]

NH Br 740 still using one, very repairable and I think best net wrap system, I'll sell you mine and buy the @Mr Mackay 7060 as it's on my doorstep somewhere? so far played with Welger, Reco, same baler as chain and slat NH/Case, Deere and now this NH which has been the best by far.

My firend has had his fair share of baler types and rates the NH BR 7060 as the best he has ever used !
I would buy it but its not got a Cropcutter :) Mind you ,its not that old a baler either

NH650 - check the back door hinges. a mess when one breaks!
main prop shaft shears and is expensive
solenoid in tractor electric junction box.
other than these, 25 plus years on the sort of acreage your are talking about.
tis slow by modern standards, but can`t beat baling hay when it needs baling.......
