Dear NFU

Money’s tight & I have to cut costs.

I now have a dilemma, I have to pay for my farm assurance & all the costs associated with it

I can’t afford both that and your membership sub so one of them has to go.

I’m now reluctantly resigning from NFU, but I feel you only have yourself to blame.

I don’t like the way office holders sneer at some grass roots members if they don’t tow the line.

With all due respect. The staff employed by the NFU are similar to the staff employed by the local Kwik Fit garages and supermarkets, at 4pm their shift ends, they couldn't care less who stays or leaves.

The NFU are too big to worry about a few farmers leaving unfortunately. However fully support your reasoning (y)

I haven’t always been the biggest fan of the NFU but I have to say that the staff I deal with at our Wrexham office always exceptionally pleasant and helpful with any issues from general enquiries to insurance matters.

I don’t agree with some of the UK policies, and certainly not Red Tractor or Farm Assurance, but I value their legal helpline service, and at local level I cannot fault the NFU.

Yes but you’re dealing with NFU Cymru.... and I entirely back your sentiment about service even up to and including Cardiff.

Having been twice to the NFU conference in Birmingham, I have to say that it’s nothing but a bean feast and mutual back slapping of each other
Boo I say

my experience of NFU Scotland and NFU Cymru is VERY different to the English NFU ..... night and day different attitude, all should not be tarred with the same brush
