Is there a programme that will help calculate a predicted lactation curve/forecast at all? I know when all my cows are due now so can do a fairly accurate forecast ready for roddas and to see how much money I dont have 😂 . Thanks

Most advisors have one, there is data on line showing curves and estimated monthly volumes.

Use to say half her yield in first 100 days. But lactation curves are much flatter nowadays but do vary depending on system, housing times , turnout times.

I work on an average yield per cow per month as they calf all year round.

Thanks, I'm trying to avoid an advisor as they're another cost I cant afford, trouble is I've got a majority spring block, eith some calving throughout the summer, and some that calved in the winter that I'll br putting in calf to calve next spring so everything is a bit all over the place for this year
