You can give them money, its what they do with it that's important.Never understand people who give kids money etc , if you don’t make it off your back you get nothing here .
They tend to make better choices if they have earned it imo .You can give them money, its what they do with it that's important.
Some will use it, some will invest it, and others will waste it.
There are plenty that have been given a farm and made it far more than it was.

Summarises society that I’d say .A good friend of mine has three grown up daughters.
Many years ago, she said if she gave them all a tenner, and sent them off to do what they wanted with it, the following would happen:
Daughter 1 would come back having made the 10 quid into about 15
Daughter 2 would come back with about 2p but owe nowt to anyone
Daughter 3 would come back wanting another tenner to clear what she owed.
She was bang on.
Then you get the boring ones that would sit on the tenner for ever.Summarises society that I’d say .
Did they own the 300 acres or rent it?I can remember this when it happened, it was a dreadful thing. From what I remember of the botched investigation and then the subsequent one which lead to his being found guilty, from what I read in the newspapers, the TV adaptation was accurate.
They were a wealthy family, that is why they had money to give him, I guess.
