Sort of, its budgeted for but I'm hoping it wont be needed, reckon I can get the cows through in 2 hours including wash down, which is only 4 hours a day total so hopefully can cope on my own for the most part

Did you find it's needed more so that if you're away from farm on busy on silage etc you don't have to rush back for milking, or more because it was needed to keep on top of work on a daily basis? Or both?

Whilst milking cows can be very rewarding and profitable, as a 20 year old you need to budget a certain amount of time for boozing and shagging.

yeah but I think on a beef and sleep farm or arable if on a Sunday you don’t do to much its not going to hurt, but dairy is just 365 24/7 so need to have a good amount of time off. At the end of the days what’s it all aboutFixed that for you

Not even a whiff
did my asthma checkup last october and got asked how many units of alcohol I've consumed, I said about 20 bottles, the nurse looked horrified and really worried and started to tell me I need to cut down, suddenly occured to me she meant in a week whereas I meant over the past year been in lockdown for most of the year and haven't been out or seen hardly anyone and been working every hour of the day (as theres nothing else to do!) both at home and planning for the big move so just havent been bothered with it

talking about turnout, we are very close now, then the wife said, do you remember the year i was moving fences in the snow, in april ? No, i was in hospital. But there is still plenty of time for a late blast. The keep sheep went yesterday, later than planned, but 350 ewes, 17 acres, 14 days, grass growing against them !

we had 6ft snow drifts a fortnight since and there is still a few bits left in the hedge backs stubbornly refusing to go, which usually means there is more snow on the way to take it away
