If it were men protesting there would be no outcry. Same as when they report a bus crash "59 people killed, including 3 women and 4 chikdren". Men = just collateral damage. Women = moral outrage.
Yeah I often find it strange how things are reported 40 dead one was a teacher or a doctor as you say it’s as if the rest don’t matter as much somehow

I reserve my greatest contempt for politicians attacking the police for enforcing the rules they (the politicians) voted in themselves and have supported being enforced on others (anti-lockdown protestors for example). If you live in the country where the law is selectively enforced depending on whether you are are in a 'protected' group or not, then you live in a police state.
my feeling or impression, is that, if a protest is from Black Lives Matter or any other "left wing type" group, the police are more than happy to take the knee or join in, as soon as it's any other type of protest they morph into riot police.

Seems the same as a motorist infringes slightly, straight away the police are on it like a tramp on chips, Hare coursers or gipsies are pretty free to do what they want.

Women and wokes have taken over the BBC. Now have to dredge through piles of minority sports to find the football. Even the business pages are all "how I made men uncomfortable by pitching an idea about bras".

Since I've stated to identify as a black pansexual gypsy woman if found I'm offended pretty much on an hourly basis, which means I fit in much more than I did as a white heterosexual male.

A woman walking home was kidnapped and murdered by a man. She had every right to be safe as she made her journey, but she was not safe.
The man who committed the murder seems to be a rogue police officer. An individual entrusted with maintaining the peace, and upholding the law, but in this instance, that is an aside. He could have been from any background.

One of the vigils (not protests) organised in several places to remember the woman who was murdered, and all the women who have suffered unwanted attention/attack/lost their lives as a result of the actions of predatory men was hijacked by the usual suspects who seek to cause trouble anytime, anyplace. They'll tag anything onto their twisted set of "causes" to justify their lawbreaking.
The local police force were forced to intervene to disperse that element before an already tricky situation got worse (there is a pandemic after all, and the virus has no means to care how it gets spread). That element escalated the strength of enforcement from the local police force.

Everything else is politicking and gossip to fill airtime and column inches in the media.

What happened has nothing to do with wokery. There were peaceful actions back in the 1980s to reclaim the streets for safe use for women.

Everyone should be equally safe to go about their legal business at any time, day or night.

Your future Queen made a special trip from Kensington Palace with a bunch of daffs to pay her respects. With the comment she remembered walking home through London before her days as the future Queen. I saw the picture today. She could have been any of our daughters. Would you lock up and fine your future Queen?
Yes. Yes I would. Indeed I would most definitely. I most certainly would. Can I do it now, or best wait till lockdown is over ?

Local forest has hundreds turning up from all over north of England to mountain bike , breaking travel rules but police do nothing.

Thats because the government have been extremely devious. The laws that govern covid restrictions have been accompanied by 'guidance' from the Home Office. The 'local travel only' restriction is not in the law, it is in the guidance only. Therefore the police have no powers to issue a ticket to anyone breaking that guidance, because it is not a law.

So if PC Plod finds a cyclist in a forest miles from anywhere he can't ticket him, because he has a cast iron excuse for being outside under the Coronavirus legislation, namely exercise. The fact he has broken the Home Office guidance on local travel only is not grounds for a ticket. He can only 'encourage' the cyclist to adhere to the guidance. Hence in practise there is little they can do if people travel long distances to exercise.

This press release from Derbyshire Police explains it well:

Of course the key question always asked is 'do have a Scotch Egg for personal consumption about your person'.

Bit like a plane crash in Africa . 3 BRITISH nationals killed .... also 250 darkies. I don’t want to downplay the murder of Sarah Everard but there would have been a lot less outcry had she not been a youngish attractive white female. If she’d been another colour they may have been ptotests but they’d been easier to playdown.

If she'd been an 80 yr old grandmother it would hardly be mentioned.

I admit it must be tricky for women to maintain a demand for equality in things like sporting prize money despite for example only playing three sets in tennis rather than five.

Girls can be scouts. Boys can't be guides.

It goes on and on. The demand for equality and at the same time special treatment. Women's football is ace. How long until women demand to be in men's teams? Then demand mixed teams. Heck, why not amalgamate all Olympic sports, so 59kg boxing is gender blind?

Should I be appalled that 55 percent of GPs are now women? Not at all. Ive flopped my sausage out for a trained medical professional to prod before without being fussed about their gender. Should we insist that fifty percent of midwives are male? Should men wanting to be midwives, nursery and primary school teachers etc not get special incentives for being so?

Think about it, because it cuts both ways. I'd say that educationally, there is a clear need for male primary school teachers, and for solidarity each primary school should have at least a quarter of its whole staff as males.

And to balance this male-bias, i personally feel the military would benefit from a bit more female intuition. So I'd be happy to give incentives to enable minimum of 25 percent of the entire military to be female, from top ranks to front line grunts.

I'm sure children would welcome male teachers, and the military would certainly benefit from a better gender split.

To start the ball rolling with an easy one, I'd insist m&s had a better ratio of males in its bra fitting department. The assistant in my local men's department is female and has no problems measuring me for formal wear etc. Potential embarrassment should clearly not trump the gender blind employment rights for those with the required skills and training.

Be careful what you wish for. For when there are no boys jobs / clubs / sports, there can be no girls jobs / clubs / sports.
