Have I missed something or have we no idea what the new Scottish Ag Policy will be?

We've been hearing about ELMS for months.

Have I missed something, or what has anyone at our end been doing??

She'll wait for the English details to be finalised and then they'll announce the gold plated 'special' Scottish version a day later.
Rumour has it it's going to be great news for anyone growing sugar beet and linseed on LFA.

Suckler cow scheme due too be launched in a couple of weeks. It is apparently the blue print that other sectors will broadly follow.
Not sure it will be well received!
The new schemes will phase in over time as BPS is phased out.

What new schemes? Do we get to hear about them before they are phased in?
What are they based on?

Good question, will we get to see the full details before the 15th of May?

It's hard to know how to play the game, when you don't know the new rules your supposed to be compliant with.

I just found most of it in the scotgov website . So from what I gather if you calve down at 2 and have 100 per cent calving plus do a carbon audit and a host of other measures you can claim capital funding for items which you will require to take of farm training for , on top of this you undertake a personal assessment from an advisor to your farm, but the reward for all this apart from the feel good is the beast you produce will have an enhanced value but as a suckler producer dependant on market values on the day I'm not sure when that £ will be in your pocket.

The Single Application Form has gone live for 2021.

So far so...
- oh shite, it still has the 3 crop rule written into the application (despite it being dropped last September) so "computer says no" and I've failed the Greening requirement :banghead:

I'll phone RPID in the morning, and get someone to give Fergus a prod.

Was that not just England it was dropped for?
