They've put new cab assembly facilities in a while ago, I guess this new cab makes use of the full potential of these investments.

I’ve been told that the new cab will only be on 8s and a new 9s tractor, sounds like the 87 range will become the 9s, 6s and 7s will have a slightly restyled cab like the 5s with the 8s style armrest. It’s a shame but the 8s cab is huge just as big as a combine cab, would look out of place on anything smaller unfortunately.

I hope your right! When I'm driving one of our older tractors compared to the 8s, the cabs are like going back in the dark ages! The ride is so smooth and visibility on the 8s is different level!!

The local "Mega" Maize company is taking delivery of 10 of the Massey 8700 series!!! Its took ten years and many upgrades and facelifts for these big MFs to start selling in decent numbers in these parts. Must say they are way nicer looking than the "Tacky" looking 8S. They will make a refreshing change locally to the usual sea of green in the above 300hp power bracket.

apparently it is the telemetry. New 936 has them and I can see the data via web page of app. 5 years subscription came with my machine.

There much nicer lookin than a big deere. The r series is nice up to the 250. I can't see why that cab can't be fitted to the smaller range of tractors, below the 8S. No doubt the 8S range will expand to replace the 8700 range in due course. I reckon the 8S design is far superior to the 8700, not that these are bad tractors. The 8S is the 'future'.
I expect the person who grassed up ... is one of these “woke” members of society, who believes it’s an injustice to criticise anything, we are all only meant to say nice things, for God’s sake what a drippy society mankind is gradually drifting into.
