It's not Blue Peter's fault. It's not the vegans fault. It's our fault, we are completely and utterly useless.

School info. Go to resource Twinkl.
https://www.twinkl.co.uk/
Put 'cows and the environment' in to search on there. Again, nothing from us. Useless, quite literally useless.

Read what I wrote.
They wont have journalists at Blue Peter, they will have researchers. In their 20's. Who will use the internet to get their scripts together.
And we are completely, and utterly, indescribably, useless when it comes to our presence on the internet.

Read what I have written, is the phrase you are looking for.

I did read it .

If they base their research on an Internet source then fools they are! But we knew that already.
Why don't children understand their surroundings and food sources , blame the researchers employed by these dumbed down yoof researchers.

So Morecambe and Wise had it wrong all along?
Delilah has a point though about how the younger generation do their research.

So it's not our fault as an industry for having a diabolical presence on the internet, it's the fault of the Blue Peter researcher for using the internet ?
Wot a load of bollox.

So are we saying that the Blue Peter researcher was a vegan ? And the researchers for the various other programmes that say 'eat less/no meat' are vegans ? That would be pretty freakish coincidence given vegans are only FA% of the population.
No, the researchers aren't going in to work with an agenda, they are going in to work to do their job. And when they do their job, on the internet, they end up with a script that says "eat no meat". And that is our fault, not theirs.

You only find what you are looking for on the Internet.
If you think the internet is the truth then wow!
Whereas with a actual conversation with someone you can get a greater amount of detail and that can lead into more in depth facts.

I see and hear loads of pro-livestock agriculture on the BBC. The only agenda the BBC has is to fulfill its role as a national broadcaster of quality programming.
Whenever it goes tits up - for us - it is because we as an industry have failed somewhere down the line. Given the constant bitching and whinging about the BBC from the NFU, I am surprised we get as good a press as we do.

100%.
So why the fudge do we keep slagging off the BBC, if we then want them to have such conversations with us ?
AR have Roger Harrabin on speed dial. They have him as a friend on fb. Why ? Because they understand that you catch more flies with sugar than vinegar.

The NFU are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't.

Do you see pro-livestock agriculture on the BBC ?

I've never seen a BBC programme explain how agriculture and farming enabled modern life and brains. I've never seen a positive image of UK farming. I've seen lots of articles about pollution, flooding, food mountains/lakes, subsidies, accidents and now Climate Rubbish blamed on farming.

I see engagement of your generation to keep you paying the license fee by showing fluffy animals being born on farms. Your being played to enable their agenda.

My parents watch the BBC (in their 70s), I don't and will never pay the license fee nor will I engage with the BBC. They are a cultural enemy.

Does the Conservative Party get fair play on the BBC ? What party do farmers vote for ? Which cultures get promoted on the BBC and where do they live ? QED.

To make this point very clear. The BBC has a political program - which always comes from a City - City based populations vote Labour in the majority.
