Totally agree with you on that but if they aren’t flexible they won’t last two mins
Seen a pic of them folded over, there is what looks like a thumb screw adjuster possibly lower down to slacken to then fold over.
they are way too high up but thats what they have went with right or wrong.
I still think the total height of the Cab seems to dwarf the rest of the tractor & may cause lower buidlings issues not seen on a massey of this hp before.

Howdy all, i havent read all tread pages but considering a 5712 or 13, first job pulling 28 plate disc, then land leveller, then basic spray, sowing, stacking hay.

Had a brief look at one today.

The backend doesnt look big?

I use a jd 3350 2wd 6cyl atm and its fine just need a few more hp and comfort, plus loader to stack big sqaures

Havent checked loader capacity, im wondering if it can do 2 big sqaures with comfort or is too much, sometimes specs dont tell.

Fendt to dear for what i need, jd maybe as i manage a branch but when thatbstops i assume they wont sell to me. So only other one im comfortable with is the massey, maybe claas?

Seen the mf pulling mouldboard on youtube but some real life reviews be nice.

ive a 5712 great tractor the back end has plenty of lift capacity for what you will be doing with it mine has no problem lifting grimme 32b potato planter
loader should have no bother lifting two square bales im lifting and tipping 1.25 ton potato boxes with a 5455 as long as you pot a wight block on back if you can get one with front suspension get it its a very good system on them I'm currently looking for another 5712 or 13 with loader to replace the 5455

It’s not just low spec, it’s cheap build using poor components
I don't believe that for one moment. They are light utility tractors that are relatively basic, but I that is what most people claim to want but seldom put their money where their mouths are. The Global Series are the modern day MF390 and 390Turbo equivalents and with better cabs and gearboxes. Stick a 5 ft drum mower, four rotor tedder, 8ft topper, roller or grass harrow on the back and they will be the boss. They are not meant to tow 12 ton trailers or use four furrow reversible ploughs; there are more suitable tractors in the range for those jobs.
