Extinction rebellion; what would you do?

I've been made aware that Extinction Rebellion are organising a "mass trespass" on Saturday from 12-2pm on one of my fields (it is advertised on Facebook with a picture of my field gate and the nearby car park for reference).

What would everyone do? I've spoken to the police on 101 for advice, they've suggested going down with family and asking them not to go on, I'm in two minds myself though, it's where we usually put the sucklers out and by then they might be out with the dry weather we are having, or to go down and join them, just to make sure they don't leave a big mess behind..... as above, what would you do???

Sounds like an ideal place for plenty of newly calved suckler cows

Load both barrels , time to extinguish , extinction . to55ers

Absolutely don't do anything that's going to land you in trouble. Deliberately putting protective, newly calved cows into the field when you know they're coming would almost certainly be seen as a premeditated plan to injure them and I'm sure they'd love nothing more than to land the big nasty farmer in court. Loads of witnesses and loads of before and after pictures and videos would be my recommendation. There's certainly potential to play them at their own game here and plaster it all over facebook if they leave a mess.

If they truly live up to their name they should not cause any damage or litter. Maybe leave a bit of machinery in the vatewab to discourage cars. It also depends who the hangers-on are who have an agenda to target rich landowners who rape the soil and pollute the atmosphere.
I presume you aren't one?

Interested if they have any mass trespass up here where there is of course responsible access to land which rather takes the shine off a protest
