Not bad being able to make a four episode series, watched by millions, of what was essentially a bit of a tidy up!

They seem like genuinely nice folk though.
Was 6 episode's filmed as my mate a stone waller was going to be on but cut the last 2 episode's he doesn't no whether it will be on later or not

It’s a program about not very much, it’s not that great is it!! - seen a couple of episodes (and the Mrs and me have the viewing figures box in our house, so its getting some viewers🤦🏻‍♂️!)

A bit of tidying up old crap that should have been done years ago and a bit of running around with the trailer on like Adam Henson picking up some sheep that you fancy from here and there!! 🙄

I won't watch this show nor Kate Humble's, seems like another good lifer outing financed by television companies.

Will just convince more townies you can make a living from 4 pigs and a half acre patch of turnips.

I bet it's not a patch on This farming life.
Not sure why you have a negative spin on the program which you haven’t even seen . They have had the small farm for over 20 odd years. Admittedly it’s not the best program in the world but pretty easy watching . Like all small farms they need an income from other sources. From what I can gather Matt financed directed and produce the program himself and if more 4 had said no it’s crap we are not putting it on he’d have been well out of pocket.

Didn't his dad run the local newsagents until he retired?

It’s all a bit happy, good life having a tidy up rather than proper farming.

But

It’s a million times more watchable than Saturday shite strictly come, get me out of here watching paint drying!

I thought it was good, very enjoyable.

However, I think it came across as saving the farm to provide a living income, which we all know isn’t going to happen on a 100 acre organic sheep farm. Nothing wrong at all with having a lifestyle farm and looks a great place run by people who know what they’re doing, but friends of ours mentioned it this afternoon and were under the impression it was going to earn them a good living. Plus, as we all know, a few sheep and donkeys isn’t going to justify that new tractor!

Also, I’m not sure Herdwicks and Cheviots are going to be any easier to handle than Hampshire Downs! We’ve certainly found our Hamps to be very docile and obliging.

Anyway, I thought it was good.
