Winter oats not looking happy at the moment!

Has anyone got red/brown tipped leaves. Agronomist thinks its the cold dry weather we've had, I hope anyway!
He said other clients have the same.
Sprayed 10 days ago with
1.25 l Chlormequat
0.5 l Tubosan
0.1 l Moddus
0.4 l Starane
21g Ally Max
Started spraying after 10 in the morning and finished before 4 in the afternoon because of the cold nights.
Has anyone else seen this?

massive amount of claims against oats last year by all accounts. Herbicides applied alone by many agronomists this year.

Ours look good but had nothing since autumn liberator hoping to spray them next week after rain and bit warmer

Our winter barley has been hurt by Moddus this year. Oats have had 1l Clormequat, 0.1 Moddus and some Hurricane (cant remember rate) and looks pretty green. Not a very thick crop though, we seem to have suffered with poor establishment compared to the barleys.

Ours were the same but now not so, gave them 3 litres of manganese today

That's one hell of a mix for Oats with the weather we've been having this April...

I bloody hope not! Didn't drill them till mid Nov. I hope its the moddus and cold weather that have knocked them. After talking to my spray man a small awkward patch that he missed with the original mix doesn't seem affected. He was putting manganese on today.

That tank mix will have done them no favours
Ally on its own knocks oats for fun let alone mixed with everything else !

Don't forget some zinc. Phosphorus deficiency (IE cold soil) shows as purple leaf tips and edges.

Is it worth going through with these then and will they respond well?
First time I have grown winter oats!
Beginning to wish we had left them well alone till it warmed up.

They are the most sensitive of all cereals i have found.. Ally Max wants applying on its own, it can absolutely hammer them!

Plenty of people dont fertilize them till every drain mark shows up in May ,dont worry about them till June

But do you apply Bayer liberator (flufenacet + DFF) to oats?

Did an agronomist give you that rec?
Brave man to do that in these conditions. Is it an approved mix? Might be an insurance job

The problem we have in Spain with winter oats is that we do not have authorized or possible herbicides for monocots.
