'nother one .....
...bits of broken 'heras' security fence hurdle tube add extra leverage for a standard gripple tool,
and the gripple 'clamp' modified for easier use.

as compared to contractor one, works about the same, not a lot of difference.
"bits of broken 'heras' security fence hurdle" - I think you are doing yourself down there! Surely that you have fabricated an adjustable torque multiplier? (y)

Thanks to some light fingered visitors I am without a quad bike. I like to broadcast my bird seed mix and power harrow it in, as by design the plots are in the areas most awkward to drill. My slug pelleter is old with a manual shutter so I need it close enough to be able to work it by hand. Here is my solution, probably the best thing I have ever made in my life.

Here it is in action, the plots are narrow enough that I can drive along each side and achieve excellent coverage. I also bulk the mix out with farm saved seed to several times the required rate so don't worry about spread pattern nowhere is short of seeds. It was a huge success, the only hiccup occurring when the string for the shutter jammed in the open position and I was left with no option other than opening the truck door to shut it off. There is now bird seed everywhere inside the cab.
