I won't be, not because I am thoroughly disillusioned with the choice of candidates, have plenty to choose from in my village with 3 elections including hotly fought war for the Parish council.
No I am helping out at a local polling station, so be careful with your language to the staff, as I will not hesitate to name and shame;)
My wife is casting mine for me, not at my station.
If you recognise me, please say hello, sadly I won't be having a TFF mug as an aide memoir, as I have never yet earned one:)
if you think the staff look as though they need a kip, it is a long day, can be near 18 hours as their is no break or relief

I will. If only to give the staff manning the polling station in my village of less than 200 people, something to do. Also the polling station is in the church next to my house, so it would seem pretty idle not to. Same candidates as you I think @Exfarmer (apart from parish council, which we are spared from thankfully). The sitting Police and Crime Commissioner is a failed pig farmer. Of course being a moderately successful pig farmer is the height of human achievement.

I can obviously make absolutely no comment on the elections in any shape or form, but it is worth joining the local community web pages on Facebook, or the alternative web page , or of course the web pages for those banned from thee other two. ;)

And I wonder what does the commissioner actually do?

Just there to summon Batman if we need him?

Always vote, you can’t complain if you don’t cast your vote when you have the opportunity.

I have done postal vote for years, easier and less hassle with work commitments. Online voting has to be the way forward though.
you are trying to put me out of a job! ;)
Not sure if it is the right way forward to be honest. I personally do not like postal voting, I think it leaves far too much room for ballot rigging, blatant dishonesty and mysogeny. If it goes on line I can see it will be a case of fastest finger first, and the winner is

No point in voting in our area as we only have a Tory, Labour, Liberal & a Green, wouldn't want to give false encouragement to any of them so not worth voting! We need more independent candidates.

By not voting in any direction it encourages the sitting councillor to carry on regardless, and it tells the others they are pointless in having a go.
Voting always encourages change.

We have somewhat more significant (I thought of using the word "important" but decided against) elections this week up here in Scotland - for the Scottish Parliament.

Cast my vote by post already. Struggled to decide between Labour, Tory and Liberal, as I'm not a fan of the SNP and yet there is minimal credible opposition around here. Won't declare who I went for, but suspect it's only slightly more effective than a spoilt paper would have been.
