We are doing pretty much everything with 035 guardian airs at 100l/ha. I thought pretty much everyone was at 100l/ha these days but perhaps we are underdoing it slightly?

I have 03 04 and 05 guardian airs. Fungicides at the moment I’m using the 03 @ 100l and upto 3 bar depending on conditions. Did pre em on my maize last week 200l with the 05, as the ground was really dry I wanted to help the chemical as much as I could and get really good coverage. The 05 means I can still spray at 12k.
Use the 04 as a halfway, I like spring Atlantis at about 150l and they are ideal for that without the larger droplets the 05 would produce.

I only do 150-170 lt/ha because I can make the little AgriBuggy tank fit fields for easier filling as only got 950 lt tank

I would happily apply at 100 lt/ha but won’t save me much time on 200ac worth of spraying - plus forwards speed is limited if I don’t want to smash it to bits !!!

Spraying cereals, currently on red (04) flat fans. Wanting to reduce water volume to around 145-150, at 11k that would mean 2 bar or just over. Should that be ok or is it too low for some things - ie get a set of blue nozzles instead?

Been on 04 Red FF’s for a long while and always looking for a reason to change but can’t find one. We do everything at 200l and 9km/hr which is about 2.7bar iirc.

I mainly run 04 bfs bubble jets, which have much less drift compared to the 04 flat fans I had in previous but they always did a good job and only swapped as they where worn out.
I will usually vary water volume depending on what I’m spraying, conditions an field size as well (unless water rate is critical) but usually go around 170-180l/ha but pre em will go as high as possible especially if it’s dry.
One thing I do like though is it’s a twin line machine so have a set of 02GA’s on the second line which means I can flick between the two for rough headlands or behind houses and gardens ets. It’s also handy for getting good coverage on pre em’s etc as I can run both lines at the same time and knock on without getting excessive drift.

I thought it was only the Facebook hero’s that applied at 100L/ Ha to boast about how many Hectares they can do in a day.
Are you covering a large area to justify 100l /ha
I spray herbicides at 180-200 l
Fungicides at 160
And potatoes at 200-350
All using 04 and 05 s
I tried 100l / ha through 03 s and didn’t like the look of it.
